TIPS OF THE MONTH
If you just make "a habit" out of some of the awareness observances, you've got a list of "new habits" for the new year:
- Start an exercise program
- Have a morning bowl of oatmeal
- Add some prunes to the oatmeal or snack on them
- Go whole grain to add more fiber to your daily diet
- Drink unsweetened tea daily as your beverage of choice (with water)
- Watch the salt in foods
- Weigh yourself and get a baseline waist measurement
